Re: MCKK Rugby - 2008 Premier Final

Why can't we revive the Rugby Song of 1958 as sung by the junior Cheergang
under the leadership of Suhaimi bin Kamaruddin aka Suhaimi 'Cengkurik' ?
Even though it is a half-century old but it must not be made to disappear as I
believe the tune and lyrics can still work out well for a new Cheergang of Kolet,
if someone will care to lead. But of course the Kolet players must wear black.,
not because of possible mourning following defeat but because black is the
traditional colour of the attire worn by Hulubalang Melayu (Malay warriors).

And why should the players sing whatever song with a Bush-like salute?

Lagipun menyanyi macam tu nampak seperti orang sedang sebak, seolah-
olah takut akan kalah atawa patah hati kerana kecewa dalam percintaan.

Malaysia's establishment TOOK PLACE ON 16 09 1963 owing to the delay in the submission of the Report of the Cobbold Commission set up by the UN to determine the views of the peoples of Sabah Sarawak and Singapore.
While the UN endorsed the Report, the Philippines, Indonesia and Pakistan broke off diplomatic relation with the then Malaya because of the non-recognition of the new Malaysia.
