The new Malay College official website is up yesterday (5th January, 08). It is still new, hence I will need some comments to improve the site. Please visit the website here at http://www.mckk.edu.my. To get yourselves an account, please register there and join the students at the discussion forum. I have planned to include several more functions to allow better interactivity between the oldboys and our juniors at koleq. Thank you.
Note : There was one particular bug yesterday where any registration will not go through and been saved at the database. It is already fixed. Should any of you encounter any issues / bugs or perhaps some suggestions, feel free to email me at fuqaha@sayafuqaha.com.

It's a great interactive site, with a forum feature we've been wanting to have, but waiting for somebody to do it. Great for Fuq to finally put ideas into action.
I highly recommend all old boys to register and interact on the site.

the site has two main areas.
the first one is the one seen by any unregistered visitor. It will provide some information / news to them and keeps the site organized and professional (unlike other school sites).
The second area can only been seen once you logged in, and is community driven. It includes a forum, a commercial private messaging system (it costs me quite a lot, check clexus.com), another commercial component - JomComment (this one got it for free since I worked with the developer in the past), and user profile pages.
Ive also planned for a calendar to let parents / oldboys keep track with events. But Ill need more research on this before coming up with the system.
As stated above, I will polish the appearance and functions from time to time, to cater the needs of present students and oldboys. It is in my greatest interest to have MCOBs and present students interact. They are glittering diamonds in mud. We can do a lot to help them.
