MCOBA Offside

Salam and Salutations gentlemen,

In approximately six weeks time,Liga Alumni Malaysia will raise its curtains for season 2008-2009.The Quadcolors performance last season was reasonably commendable,making its debut in the top notch for the first time ever since 2002.Its pioneer entree in the first division saw the Quadcolors ending up in the fourth spot in the league behind STAROBA,VIOBA and SJAA being the alumni outfits behind Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman,Victoria Institution and St.Johns Institution respectively. Eventhough Liga Alumni Malaysia is still being considered in its infancy,the intense competition,participation and camarederie exhibited from the brotherhood of the Quadcolors has somehow become the landmark and parameters for the others to observe and follow.This has been evident in the other clubs and/or associations from various parts of the nation picking themselves up immensely whenever they face the familiar four colors of the club.

Wether its soccer,rugby,futsal and very soon basketball,hockey and volleyball,Liga Alumni provides the platform for the younger generation of former students/alumni of MCKK to regroup,consolidate and organise themselves to join in the fray of MCOBA activities,indirectly and eventually.The inclusion from the class of 2003 last year was significant and it is further looked forward to lure in the younger set from batches 2004-2007.

MCOBA OFFSIDE will be the initial hub to call upon the latest alumni from MCKK to come forward and participate in this micro gesture.The macro nucleus will follow through,as it will provide the apt and best reason for the younger set to somehow,orientate themselves with MCOBA.

It will be a very LONG season,stretching all the way to next year,gentlemen.Lets hear from the later batches to come out and include themselves in this Liga Alumni Malaysia.You are more than welcomed to use this as the suitable communication stage to expedite coordination and cooperation amongst us.
