Introduction
It has been said that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach (That does not sound right, actually). It has also been said that "You are what you eat". Whether consciously or unconsciously, several social activities are very much related to food and drink. For example, one of the ways to catch up with a friend is to have a tete a tete over coffee and cakes. In Malaysian tee-totaling public, both modern Mamak restaurants and Starbucks are leaders in their respective leagues, becoming convenient and hip places to meet, almost always, over food and drink.
This “book”, as it has been termed by the web-master, seeks to provide a platform for all offside netizens to share their gastronomic adventures and reviews for the benefit of other netizens. It is an effort that almost everybody can support. It has no real limitations and is expected to have no real divisionary elements other kinds of discussions can generate. Please feel free to contribute about any food in any food-stall, restaurants, local or overseas.
Contributions are welcome for all types of food, country and state but inasmuch as possible should adhere to the following format:
Name/location/Country
My Take - What you really want to talk about the food/restaurant. This is the most important one because that’s what we want to here first – about what you think. Then you can follow it up with:
Setting : What kind of setting it has. Number of pax to be accommodated.
Food: The menu
Price: How much does it cost to have a meal there
At the end of the day, I am sure it will be helpful to someone somewhere within our circle. For example, information given about eateries in Melbourne will be helpful to a first time visitor there.
